F\u00f6lj med \u2013 vi reder ut vad som sker i magen, varf\u00f6r det h\u00e4nder, hur du m\u00e4rker att n\u00e5got \u00e4r fel och viktigast av allt: vad du sj\u00e4lv kan g\u00f6ra \u00e5t det.<\/p>\n<h2>Vad \u00e4r tarmfickor och n\u00e4r blir de ett problem?<\/h2>\n<p>T\u00e4nk dig att tjocktarmen \u00e4r som ett l\u00e5ngt, lite veckigt r\u00f6r. Med \u00e5ren kan sm\u00e5 utbuktningar \u2013 s\u00e5 kallade <strong>tarmfickor<\/strong> eller divertiklar \u2013 b\u00f6rja bildas l\u00e4ngs v\u00e4ggarna, ofta nedtill p\u00e5 v\u00e4nster sida. Det \u00e4r faktiskt inget ovanligt: ungef\u00e4r var tredje person \u00f6ver 60 har dem, enligt 1177. M\u00e5nga lever med dem utan att ens veta om det.<\/p>\n<p>Men ibland h\u00e4nder n\u00e5got: en eller flera av de h\u00e4r fickorna blir inflammerade \u2013 och d\u00e5 talar vi om <strong>divertikulit<\/strong>, allts\u00e5 tarmficksinflammation. D\u00e5 g\u00f6r det ont. Riktigt ont, f\u00f6r en del.<\/p>\n<h2>S\u00e5 k\u00e4nns det \u2013 symtom att h\u00e5lla koll p\u00e5<\/h2>\n<p>Du vaknar, magen k\u00e4nns \u00f6m och sm\u00e4rtan verkar h\u00e5lla sig envist p\u00e5 v\u00e4nster sida, l\u00e5ngt ner i buken. Den \u00e4r molande, ibland stickande. Du kanske har feber, k\u00e4nner dig gasig eller m\u00e4rker att du springer p\u00e5 toaletten oftare \u00e4n vanligt \u2013 eller tv\u00e4rtom, att magen st\u00e5r stilla.<\/p>\n<p>Vanliga symtom \u00e4r:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>V\u00e4rk i nedre v\u00e4nstra delen av magen<\/li>\n<li>Uppbl\u00e5sthet eller gasbesv\u00e4r<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6rstoppning eller diarr\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Feber och illam\u00e5ende<\/li>\n<li>\u00d6kad urinering (ibland)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Och ja \u2013 om du pl\u00f6tsligt f\u00e5r h\u00f6g feber, kraftig sm\u00e4rta eller k\u00e4nner dig allm\u00e4nt sjuk \u00e4r det dags att ringa en v\u00e5rdcentral eller 1177 direkt. Det kan vara n\u00e5got som kr\u00e4ver snabbare hj\u00e4lp.<\/p>\n<h2>Varf\u00f6r h\u00e4nder det h\u00e4r, just dig?<\/h2>\n<p>Delvis handlar det om <strong>genetik<\/strong>: du kan helt enkelt ha \u00e4rvt en tarm som \u00e4r lite mer ben\u00e4gen att bilda fickor. Men mycket handlar ocks\u00e5 om hur vi lever.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e4r \u00e4r n\u00e5gra vanliga riskfaktorer f\u00f6r att utveckla inflammation i tarmfickorna:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u00e5gt intag av kostfibrer (fullkorn, gr\u00f6nsaker, baljv\u00e4xter)<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6r lite v\u00e4tska<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e5ngvarig anv\u00e4ndning av sm\u00e4rtstillande som ibuprofen (NSAID)<\/li>\n<li>R\u00f6kning<\/li>\n<li>\u00d6vervikt<\/li>\n<li>H\u00f6g \u00e5lder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Det fina \u00e4r att m\u00e5nga av dessa g\u00e5r att p\u00e5verka. Enkla f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar kan r\u00e4cka l\u00e5ngt f\u00f6r att minska risken.<\/p>\n<h2>S\u00e5 h\u00e4r behandlas tarmficksinflammation<\/h2>\n<p>F\u00f6rut var <strong>antibiotika<\/strong> n\u00e4stan alltid f\u00f6rstahandsvalet vid divertikulit. Men idag vet vi mer: i lindriga fall l\u00e4ker kroppen ofta ut inflammationen sj\u00e4lv, precis som vid en vanlig infektion.<\/p>\n<h3>Vad kan du g\u00f6ra hemma?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Vila \u2013 ge magen lugn och ro<\/li>\n<li>Drick ordentligt \u2013 vatten \u00e4r b\u00e4st<\/li>\n<li>V\u00e4lj l\u00e4ttsm\u00e4lt mat, som soppa eller gr\u00f6t<\/li>\n<li>Undvik NSAID (som Ipren eller Voltaren) \u2013 de kan f\u00f6rv\u00e4rra<\/li>\n<li>R\u00f6r p\u00e5 dig lite f\u00f6rsiktigt n\u00e4r det k\u00e4nns b\u00e4ttre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Men blixtrar sm\u00e4rtan, f\u00e5r du h\u00f6g feber eller blir du allm\u00e4nt p\u00e5verkad? D\u00e5 ska du inte v\u00e4nta \u2013 s\u00f6k v\u00e5rd. Ibland beh\u00f6vs antibiotika, och i mer komplicerade situationer kan sjukhusv\u00e5rd och till och med operation kr\u00e4vas.<\/p>\n<h2>N\u00e4r blir det allvarligt?<\/h2>\n<p>De allra flesta som drabbas av en tarmficksinflammation blir snabbt b\u00e4ttre. Men det finns undantag. H\u00e4r \u00e4r n\u00e5gra varningsflaggor att k\u00e4nna till:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Varb\u00f6lder som bildas kring fickan<\/li>\n<li>En sprucken tarmficka \u2013 det kan leda till bukhinneinflammation (ett allvarligt tillst\u00e5nd)<\/li>\n<li>Fistlar \u2013 sm\u00e5 g\u00e5ngar som kan bildas mellan tarm och andra organ, som urinbl\u00e5san<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I de h\u00e4r l\u00e4gena kr\u00e4vs ofta v\u00e5rd p\u00e5 sjukhus. Men kom ih\u00e5g: de flesta f\u00e5r aldrig s\u00e5 allvarliga komplikationer.<\/p>\n<h2>Kan man f\u00f6rebygga det?<\/h2>\n<p>Absolut! Det handlar inte om att vara perfekt \u2013 utan om att ge magen lite v\u00e4nligare f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningar. H\u00e4r \u00e4r vanor som verkligen g\u00f6r skillnad:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c4t fibrer varje dag \u2013 b\u00f6nor, linser, broccoli, \u00e4pple, fullkorn<\/li>\n<li>Drick mycket vatten \u2013 enkel grej som g\u00f6r mycket<\/li>\n<li>Undvik l\u00e5ngvarig anv\u00e4ndning av vissa sm\u00e4rtstillande \u2013 prata med din l\u00e4kare<\/li>\n<li>R\u00f6r p\u00e5 dig \u2013 promenader, cykling eller bara en tur runt kvarteret<\/li>\n<li>Sluta r\u00f6ka om du g\u00f6r det<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6rs\u00f6k h\u00e5lla en h\u00e4lsosam vikt<\/li>\n<li>Och framf\u00f6r allt: hitta en balans. Det \u00e4r inte svart eller vitt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Loreto Ferrada, chefl\u00e4kare, uttrycker det tr\u00e4ffs\u00e4kert: <em>\u201cDet handlar om att f\u00e5 den goda sidan av v\u00e5gsk\u00e5len att v\u00e4ga tyngre \u2013 du m\u00e5ste inte vara perfekt.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Vanliga myter \u2013 vad g\u00e4ller egentligen?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u274c M\u00e5ste jag undvika n\u00f6tter, fr\u00f6n och popcorn?<\/strong><br \/>Nej. Det var gamla r\u00e5d. Dagens forskning har inte hittat n\u00e5got som tyder p\u00e5 att dessa livsmedel \u00f6kar risken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u274c \u00c4r det samma sak som IBS eller tarmcancer?<\/strong><br \/>Nej. Symtomen kan ibland likna, men det \u00e4r helt olika tillst\u00e5nd. M\u00e5nga f\u00e5r aldrig n\u00e5gra besv\u00e4r, trots att fickorna finns d\u00e4r.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kan jag tr\u00e4na om jag har divertikulit?<\/strong><br \/>Vid lindrig inflammation: raska promenader eller l\u00e4ttare aktivitet kan till och med hj\u00e4lpa.
