Offered Procedures
The Rejuvence Clinic is a doctor-led, doctor-found, all-around cosmetic clinic offering revolutionary cosmetic treatments for all people. This means that this clinic does not only offer outstanding hair recovery treatments but a plethora of other facial and body treatments too.
The procedures offered at this clinic are as follows:
- Magellan TruPRP – a bio cellular hair restoration treatment that utilizes fat harvesting which is then centrifuged with plasma-rich-proteins before being reinjected into the affected areas. The stem cell/fat injections are performed under local anesthetic and are only performed once, as opposed to more regular standard PRP.
- FUE Hair Transplant – A common procedure performed at a variety of hair transplant clinics by which the surgeon excises small grafts in the donor area to extra follicles that need to be implanted into the transplantation area.
- Medication – The Rejuvence clinic offers a wide variety of medicated treatments that are helpful for all kinds of hair loss. Additionally, you can get a Cyclical Vitamin Supplement treatment which is a revolutionary new approach to treating hair loss.
- Alopecia Areata treatments – As opposed to other clinics that offer a facial hair transplant, the Rujuvence Clinic offers intralesional steroidal injections that are injected into the patches of hair loss that one may experience.
There are lots of methods for treating the many symptoms of hairloss on both men and women
Treated Hairloss Symptoms
There are over 6.5 million men who suffer from hair loss, up to two-thirds of which are below the age of 35. At the Rejuvence Clinic, you can find the newest and most innovative treatments to target this specific hair loss in the forms of cyclical vitamin supplements to your traditional FUE hair transplant. The common hair loss symptoms and conditions treated at the Rejuvence Clinic are as follows:
Male Pattern Baldness – The biggest cause of baldness in men, otherwise known as androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern baldness can cause balding in the crown, temple, hairline, and other parts of the head, all of which can be treated at the Rejuvence clinic through the use of medications or a transplant.
Female Pattern Baldness – Yes, that’s right. Females can experience balding too. However, with female pattern baldness, signs are often seen at the parting, with the hair becoming thinner at the center of the scalp. Rejuvence offers a range of successful solutions to treat Female Pattern Baldness.
Alopecia Areata – An autoimmune condition that can lead to the formation of patchy bald spots. Although this can be treated on the NHS, the treatment process is often slow and frustrating. At Rejuvence, you can expect the newest technologies to treat alopecia areata.
The transplanting process
Many people assume that a hair transplant is the only method of complete hair restoration. Although this may be true in some cases, hair transplants are typically only offered once all non-surgical treatment options have been exhausted.
Following the Norwood Scale, a scale used to indicate the type of hair loss which a male individual is experiencing, hair transplants at the Rejuvence Clinic are mainly offered to those currently on stage 6, where the majority of the hair on the crown or temple is barely visible. The hair transplant method of choice used at the Rejuvence Clinic is the FUE transplant.
Before opting for a transplant, you must first go through a consultation with Dr. Choudhary, the leading hair transplant surgeon at the Rejuvence Clinic. During this initial consultation, Dr. Choudhary will assess your hair in order to identify which stage of the Norwood Scale you have reached, ask about your family and medical history, and assess your hair loss cause.
Once determined, a number of grafts needed will need to be calculated which depends on your remaining existing hair. The number of grafts suggest can range anywhere from 200 to 5200, depending on your hair loss. Once the graft number is identified, you will be quoted a personalized quote and be given a number of preoperative instructions to follow.
At the first consultation you will be asked about the history of your hair loss, family history et. al.
On the day of your surgery, you will be given a local anesthetic to numb the area of surgery. Your procedure will then proceed and Dr. Choudhary will perform the hair transplant with the assistance of specialized nursing staff.
Once the transplant is completed, you will be given a series of post-operative instructions to follow and make sure you do so accordingly to enhance your outcome. Follow-up appointments can then be made to check everything is going to plan, and you should expect complete regrowth over the course of the year.
Cost And Pricing
Your initial consultation is free, however, the Rejuvence Clinic charges a consultation fee of £50 for every subsequent appointment. This is because the consultations can be timely and need to be thorough in order to provide you with the best-personalized treatment plan.
The different hair restoration treatments are then priced specific to you, based on the number of grafts you need to be extracted. The prices and costs of hair recovery treatments at the Rejuvence clinic are as follows:
- Megallen TruPRP – from £550
- Cellenis PRP – from £395
